Layout, Hierarchy and the Grid

Workshop in how to design posters after a session about Indesign. I’ve learnt how to correctly use a grid system including guttering, columns and hang lines for both planning and creating a document digitally. As well as the different ways of setting a block of text; flush left, flush right centred and justified. These sessions will be useful when it comes to planning and creating my type specimen poster. I think one of the most important things other than context i need to think about when designing the type specimen is creating a clear path for the eye in terms of what the viewer sees and the order in which they see it because t
